Over twenty years ago, The Power Five were the biggest superheroes in the world until they disbanded after The Event that changed everything. Impervia hung up her tights and moved into philanthropy. NightTrain discarded the mask and fell into a life of debauchery, while the team leader Magnus and Morph (formerly the hero Baby Delta) married and continued working as a superpowered couple, and The Omen vanished from the face of the Earth.
Now in the present, Impervia is found murdered, under mysterious circumstances - her impenetrable skin broken with a hole in her head. Now her former teammates must come together after twenty years to face their past to find answers and get justice for Impervia.
All the while, the mysterious supervillain known only as Dr. Nexus plots from behind bars, working towards some nefarious plan that is almost time to enact.
Who killed Impervia and why? Secrets will be revealed. Trauma will be faced, but most importantly, justice will be found.
The Power Five is a character-driven story about good and evil, love and hate, destiny and free-will.
